  • Water Environment Development / Agromet Group | Université de Liège

Feeding the planet in 2050, Feeding the planet in 2050

Topics studied in the Agromet group concern problems linking agricultural practices to environment in general but main activities are related to the needs and requests of water for the agriculture productions under different latitudes. More precisely, researches aim at reaching three objectives through the use of soil-plant-atmosphere models:

  • Center for Demographic Research (DEMO) | Université catholique de Louvain

    Smart grid, smart consumers?

~~The Population and Environment research group of the Centre for Demographic Research is doing research on consumers’ practices having an impact of the environment, especially on energy consumption in the residential sector. The conceptual framework is often made of sociological theories of social practices that allow to consider daily life practices in their technological, cultural, procedural and routinized dimensions.

  • LIEGE COMPETITION AND INNOVATION INSTITUTE | Université de Liège

Smart grid, smart consumers?, Smart grid, smart consumers?

The LCII is a research centre of the University of Liege (“ULg”) created in 2013. It seeks to explore the complex relationship between competition and innovation in society, from both an economic and legal standpoints. The LCII seeks to steer fundamental research on those issues in new directions, and possibly to influence the conception of competition, innovation and regulation policies across Europe.
